<p>Decorative restoration is the process of creating an artistic work from fragments, accomplished through the combination of scientific knowledge, creative intent, and spiritual and aesthetic values. Restoration work involves selecting adhesives and materials to fill lost fragments and fixing them to recreate the object’s original form. A variety of polymer materials and decoration techniques are being integrated into traditional restoration techniques, preserving cultural heritage and adapting them to the expression of contemporary ideas. The technique of restoring ceramics with metal staples is being revived as a decorative technique in original works. The most famous traditional Japanese art is kintsugi, which is based on a philosophical rethinking of both the restoration process itself and the resulting product. The use of individual ceramic fragments to create a complete piece hasbecome widespread. The presented work utilizes a creative approach to replacing lost fragments through a combination of various decorative and applied arttechniques. Itdemonstrates the feasibility of combining the basic principles of kintsugi restoration with hand embroidery and artistic painting on ceramic plates. Embroidery is one way to preserve and transmit sacred knowledge. Itserves as a symbolic language rooted in national culture and philosophy. Restoring a plate using the kintsugi technique, filling in missing fragments with hand embroidery, notonly unites traditional techniques butalso complements and enriches each other’s semantic and emotional meaning. To create a harmonious perception of the piece’s integrity, the embroidery is combined with the original design on the plate using artistic painting.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>декоративная реставрация</kwd><kwd>реставрация металлическими скобами</kwd><kwd>кинцуги</kwd><kwd>утраченный фрагмент</kwd><kwd>вышивка</kwd><kwd>художественная роспись</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>decorative restoration</kwd><kwd>restoration with metal staples</kwd><kwd>kintsugi</kwd><kwd>missing fragment</kwd><kwd>embroidery</kwd><kwd>artistic painting</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Агафонова Л.
